Several years ago, a group of friends started a squash league at the Knights of Columbus Centre in Thunder Bay. At the time, the Knights of Columbus had two courts and a bar for refreshments after a match. Unfortunately, the Knights of Columbus Centre closed their squash courts and left this group of friends without a home for their league. Feeling somewhat cast out by the Knights of Columbus, they found a new host club at the Confederation College Fitness Centre and called their league the Black Knights.
Today the Black Knights Squash League contines to provide players from all skill levels with a team format schedule that allows them to meet new opponents and improve their game.
